The House of Earl

Originally born and raised in Atikokan, Ontario, I have lived in Winnipeg for 30 years now. My two sons are 20 and 22, with my younger one still living at home with my husband and I, and our Greyhound, Odie (Set the Odds.)

I never in a million years thought I would ever own a Greyhound. I did not even know I wanted one until I met one face-to-face. After our Shetland Sheepdog passed away four years ago, we just wanted to get another dog from the Humane Society, or from a shelter. When we met Michaela Lamoureux (president of Hi-Speed Hounds Greyhound Rescue, Inc.) and one of her hounds, our lives changed instantly, and forever! Within a short time, we adopted Odie and are all heavily involved with Greyhound rescue here in Winnipeg. I will never again own another breed, and love them all with a passion.
